About this photo:

This is an interpretation of the 1919 poster Beat the Whites With the Red Wedge by El Lissitzky made by Tony R.. Mark A, Tony’s uncle, sent this to us explaining more about this piece and showing other examples of Tony’s work. 3D Studio Max was used to transform the original two-dimensional image into a lively 3D picture.

About the submitter:

We have here an interesting rendering of the classic Suprematism poster, but that isn’t all that is at work with this submission. 3DSM is a complex application to learn, for anyone, and especially difficult for most to form an image that doesn’t look like crap. Tony R. is six years old. He has been using computers since he was three, and 3DSM for the last year and a half. His computer skills are beyond those of most college art students. When he gets older he wants to either do animation, be an astronaut, or be the Wizard of Oz.
